Malquiel Brito went 2-4, sparking the Douglas Diablos (16-19) to a 6-1 victory over the Roswell Invaders (23-13) on Wednesday at Joe Bauman Park. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Mike Bradstreet picked up the win for the Douglas Diablos. Bradstreet allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings of work.

A bright spot for the Roswell Invaders in the defeat was Ernie Zaragoza, who allowed only three runs while striking out seven.

Zaragoza (3-2) was the games losing pitcher.
