Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Monday as the Las Vegas Train Robbers (11-19) outscored the Trinidad Triggers (15-14) 10-8.
The two teams combined for 27 hits in the game.
Hunter Ridge racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.
Johnny Bladel had two extra-base hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He singled in the sixth inning, doubled in the eighth innings, and tripled in the ninth inning.
Even though Josh Tols allowed six runs over eight innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered nine hits.
Alex Bos ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four.
