Austin Prott went 1-3 and hit a home run as the Alpine Cowboys (26-9) took home a 9-5 victory over the White Sands Pupfish (11-20) at Kokernot Field on Sunday. He homered in the fifth inning.

JJ Constantino was hot from the plate for the White Sands Pupfish. Constantino went 4-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first, seventh, and ninth innings.

Jasper Adams got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed three runs over six innings. Adams struck out two, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Mike Mezaros (1-2) took the loss for the White Sands Pupfish. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
