The Douglas Diablos (6-5) beat the Bisbee Blue (3-6) 5-2 on Tuesday at Copper King Park behind Jean Batista, who went 2-4. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second inning.

Hisashi Kawakaku pitched lights out for the Douglas Diablos. Kawakaku held the Bisbee Blue hitless over three innings, allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out five.

Manuel Soliman recorded his second win of the year for the Douglas Diablos. He allowed one run over five innings. Soliman struck out five, walked two and gave up six hits.

Tom Goodman ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
