The Roswell Invaders (9-4) beat the Taos Blizzard (3-8) 7-4 on Monday at Taos Tundra behind Jeff Eubank, who had two extra base hits. He homered in the second inning, tripled in the sixth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.
Chris Dunn struck out nine hitters en route to the the Roswell Invaders win. Dunn allowed one earned run on four hits and three walks over seven innings.
Mike Lange was solid at the plate for the Taos Blizzard. Lange went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the eighth inning.
Richie Anderson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
The Roswell Invaders were sparked by Eubank and Matt Streich, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs.
