New Jersey Jackals Defeat Salina Stockade 12-5

June 26 2018 The New Jersey Jackals defeated the Salina Stockade 12-5, collecting 13 hits in the victory. New Jersey scored twice in the first inning, added three runs in the third and broke the game open with a five-run fifth. The Jackals added two runs in the eighth while Salina scored twice in the ninth. D. Green led New Jersey with three hits, four runs and four RBI, including a home run. D. Harris also homered and finished with one hit, one run and two RBI. S. Spivey and D. Canela each had two hits, while R. Cabrera and C. Triunfel added two RBI apiece. Salina’s W. Salas went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI, and T. Mention was 3-for-4 with a double and a run. Dylan Brammer earned the win for New Jersey after allowing six hits and three runs, two earned, in five innings. He struck out seven and walked one. Jordan Cummings took the loss for Salina, surrendering seven hits and nine runs, eight earned, in 4 2/3 innings while striking out five. New Jersey committed one error and Salina also committed one.
