5/9/2011-The Las Cruces Vaqueros hosted the El Paso Diablos Monday Night at Apodoca Park in a game that several local fans had dreamed of seeing...This dream became a reality when the Diablos agreed to play two exhibition games with the Pecos League at Cohen Stadium. After Roswell played the Diablos on Wed Night the Diablos had to reschedule their game with the Vaqueros to Monday Night in Las Cruces. The surface was beautiful and the Vaqueros had a 10-5 lead in the 6th inning. Juan Martinez homered and many players hit well. The Vaqueros made 14 errors which gave them no chance to win the game, and the Diablos scored 9 runs in the 7th inning.
