8/12/2012-The Pecos League has recently completed another successful year and more cities within the region are attempting to get their city to host a Pecos League Team.
The Pecos League will likely go with eight teams in 2013. This will actually be very helpful to teams in terms of travel. The Southern Division will consist of Las Cruces, Alamogordo, Roswell and Alpine. The Northern Division will consist of Trinidad, Santa Fe and two expansion teams.
Pueblo, Farmington, Lubbock, Pecos Texas, and Taos have highest chances of getting in the league.
It is still possible Roswell could wind up in the Northern Division. The Pecos League wants a final schedule in the month of October.
