5/5/2012-The Pecos League is ready for opening day and teams have declared their opening day starters.

• May 8- Trinidad will start Luis Pardo in their first ever game against Santa Fe's Jared Bowser.
• May 9- Santa Fe will host Trinidad and Rodney Tafoya will get the ball for Santa Fe.
• May 9- White Sands will send Curtis Camalli to mound against the El Paso Diablos Kyle Cremers in an exhibition game.
• May 10- Roswell will start Reed Brown against Alpine's Chris Welborn. Welborn lead the league last year with three shutouts with the Ruidoso Osos.
• May 11- The Regular season opener for White Sands will have Seth Marchant on the mound for the Pupfish against Blake Cull for the Las Cruces Vaqueros.
