The Blackwell Flycatchers beat the Garden City Wind 8-3 on June 6, 2026.

Blackwell took control early with two runs in the second inning, two more in the third, and two in the fifth.

Rey Lozano powered the Flycatchers offense, homering and driving in four runs.

Dario Paredes added a home run, two runs scored, and two RBIs for Blackwell.

Caleb Marquez doubled and scored, while Angel Rodriguez added an RBI.

Lex Meinderts started for Blackwell and allowed three runs, two earned, on three hits over six innings, striking out four.

Thomas Millett followed with two scoreless innings, allowing just two hits.

Garden City scored all three of its runs in the seventh inning. Darius Freeman led the Wind with two hits, two RBIs, and three stolen bases.

Peyton Lewis also had two hits for Garden City, while Ben Bach drove in one run.

Blackwell finished with eight runs, four hits, and three errors. Garden City finished with three runs, six hits, and three errors.
