Santa Fe Fuego Hold Off Roswell Invaders 10-7

July 22 2025 The Santa Fe Fuego defeated the Roswell Invaders 10-7 in a game that featured scoring in six different innings. Santa Fe broke through with a run in the fourth, added two in the sixth and two more in the eighth before scoring twice in the ninth and three times in the 10th. Roswell scored once in the fifth, twice in the seventh and four times in the ninth.

Taylor Steig led Santa Fe with a home run, two hits, two RBI and three runs scored. Sam Camacho went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI, while Quinton Copeland drove in two runs. Santa Fe finished with 10 runs and 10 hits. Roswell collected 12 hits, led by Yoinis Aleksandrovs four hits, including three doubles, and Bilal Whittles two hits and two RBI. Sloan Laird added two hits and an RBI.

Tyler Campbell earned the win for Santa Fe after working all 10 innings. He allowed 12 hits and seven runs, five earned, while walking one and striking out 14. Miguel Rosado started for Roswell and allowed three runs, one earned, on three hits in six innings with four strikeouts. Daylan Bower pitched three innings, and Nester Perela was charged with the loss after allowing three runs in the 10th inning.
