July 3 2025 The Dublin Leprechauns held off the Monterey Amberjacks 4-3 at Ofallon Field. Dublin scored once in the first inning, twice in the third and once in the eighth to finish with 10 hits and no errors. Monterey answered with two runs in the fifth and one in the ninth while collecting eight hits and committing one error.
Dylan Leek went 2-for-3 with two runs and two walks for Dublin while
Abraham De La Cruz added two hits and scored twice.
Sam Ott and
Damone Hale each drove in two runs, with Ott and Hale also recording doubles. Monterey’s
Miguel Agramonte went 2-for-5 with one RBI and
Alex Elliott had two hits.
Diego Fernandez scored twice and drove in one run for the Amberjacks.
Tim Nichols earned the win after allowing five hits and two runs over five innings while striking out six.
Nico Camacho secured the save with four innings of relief, allowing three hits and one run while recording seven strikeouts.
Clayton Evans took the loss for Monterey after giving up nine hits and three earned runs in five innings with eight strikeouts.
