June 24 2025 The Bakersfield Train Robbers defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 18-3 at Sam Lynn Ballpark. Bakersfield totaled 22 hits and scored in every inning except the second while Vallejo finished with 11 hits and three errors.
Ryan Anderson led the Train Robbers’ offensive attack by going 6-for-6 with four runs and five RBI.
Ashanti Ross scored four runs and added two hits and an RBI while
Emilio Luna drove in three runs with two hits.
Joe Starick contributed two hits two runs and two RBI and
Jumpei Ohashi went 4-for-6 with a double and an RBI.
Bakersfield took control with three runs in the third and fourth innings and added two in the fifth. A six-run sixth inning expanded the lead to 16-2 before the Train Robbers added single runs in the seventh and eighth. Vallejo scored once in each of the first two innings and added its final run in the seventh.
Joe Riddle earned the win after allowing two runs on eight hits in five innings with four strikeouts and two walks.
Azhar Khan completed the game with four innings of relief allowing one run on three hits while striking out one to earn the save. Vallejo starter
