Dublin Leprechauns Rally Past Bakersfield Train Robbers 7-6

June 12 2025 The Dublin Leprechauns rallied for three runs in the ninth inning to defeat the Bakersfield Train Robbers 7-6. Dublin finished with 11 hits and overcame a four-run third inning and two-run fourth that put Bakersfield ahead 6-1 early in the game.

Victor Ceniceros led Dublin with three hits and four RBI, while Damone Hale went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Drew Bayard added two hits and scored twice, and Sam Ott scored twice, drove in a run and earned the win after pitching a scoreless ninth inning.

Bakersfield collected 13 hits in the loss. Ashanti Ross and Joe Starick each had three hits, while Emilio Luna drove in three runs and Tyler McKenna had two hits and an RBI. The Train Robbers scored four times in the third and twice in the fourth before Dublin began its comeback.

Santiago Gomez started for Dublin and allowed six runs, two earned, on 11 hits in 6.1 innings while striking out eight. Dante Hatchett followed with 1.2 scoreless innings, and Ott completed the victory. Joe Riddle worked seven innings for Bakersfield, allowing two runs on seven hits with four strikeouts, before Dublin scored five runs over the final three innings. Dillon Stimpson took the loss.
