The Pacifics were the winningest franchise of the Pacific Association, capturing four championships in seven seasons. On November 3, 2011, the team name Pacifics was selected. The franchise was launched by Centerfield Partners of Dublin, California but was sold to Red Sports and Entertainment Group on November 15. The Pacifics were sold to Oscar Suarez at the end of the 2018 season. Suarez operated the team for one year winning the final Pacific Division Championship. Suarez made the personal decision not to continue the team in the Pacific Association and solicited the Pecos League to buy the San Rafael Pacifics and move the team into the Pecos League. In March of 2020, Gabe Suarez the son of Oscar Suarez with the assistance of Brenda Goodman sold the San Rafael Pacifics to the Pecos League. The Pacifics have played in the Bay Area Division of the Pecos League since 2021 along with Martinez, Dublin and Vallejo.
