8/5/2024-James Prockish is the all time Pecos League hits leader. In 2024 James became the first player to reach 1000 official at bats in Pecos League History.

James owns all Monterey Amberjacks and Alpine Cowboys offensive records.

James broke into the Pecos League in 2017 as an original Monterey Amberjack. He played for the Amberjacks in 2017, 2018 and 2019. James moved to Tucson for the 2020 Covid league. James moved to his permanent home in Alpine in 2021 and has played with the Cowboys from 2021-2024. He was the Mountain Division MVP in 2023 and has anchored the third base position for the Cowboys.
