8/5/2024-Taylor Darden has been named MVP of the Pecos League Mountain Division. Darden played shortstop and hit 5th in a record breaking season for the Alpine Cowboys. The Cowboys set the all time winning percentage record in the Pecos League. Darden did his part hitting .422 with 6 Home Runs. He played an amazing shortstop and anchored the Cowboys defense which lead the Pecos League in fielding percentage.
