1/21/2024-The Garden City Wind have named Easton Barnes as 2024 field manager. The Lawrence native pitched two years at Neosho Community College. He then finished his college pitching at University of Saint Mary.

Easton spent the 2020 Covid year with the East Coast Weekenders in North Carolina. In 2021 he split the season between the Billings Mustangs and Roswell Invaders. In 2022 he split the season between the Northern Colorado Owlz and the Garden City Wind. Easton Barnes return to Garden City Wind.

The Wind begin their 9th year of baseball in Garden City at home on May 30th against the Tucson Saguaros.
