8/5/2023-The Marysville Drakes have won their first championship in their inaugural season, despite not qualifying for the playoffs. Todd Kuhnen has been named Pacific Division Broadcaster of the year for his work as play by play Meridix Broadcaster for the Marysville Drakes. Todd worked 34 home games for the Drakes and kept fans in the game from start to finish.

Bill Rogan Field Manager of the Drakes says: "When I was wrongfully ejected by games by the umpires, I had the pleasure to sit in the press box and listen to Todd. He is perfect broadcaster for the listeners, he gives you everything you need to know with unique style and brand of humor. As the 2020 Pecos League Broadcaster of the year, I welcome to Todd to the Fraternity."
