The Raton Osos (16-25) beat the Taos Blizzard (15-26) 7-3 on Friday at Taos Tundra behind Evan Richard, who went 2-4 and hit a home run. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Phil Richmond brought the heat against the Taos Blizzard during his outing. Richmond held the Taos Blizzard hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

The Taos Blizzard were led by Dominic SanFelippos hitting. SanFelippo went 3-5 and scored two runs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and eighth innings.

Kellen Quintana improved to 5-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Raton Osos. He allowed three runs over 7 2/3 innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered eight hits.

Richie Anderson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out none.
