The Bisbee Blue (16-8) jumped out to an early lead on the Raton Osos (8-14) and captured a 14-7 victory on Friday.
The game was decided quickly as the Bisbee Blue exerted their will early with nine runs in the first three innings. A two-run single by Chris Allen, a two-run single by Allen, and a two-run home run by Daniel Aldrich during the first inning and a two-run double by Allen in the second inning fueled the Bisbee Blues offense early.
Aldrich racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Bisbee Blue.
Romsy Romero pitched lights out for the Bisbee Blue. Romero held the Raton Osos hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out two.
Cie Arell reached base four times in the game for the Raton Osos. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He singled in the fifth inning.
Tom Goodman got his third win for the Bisbee Blue despite allowing seven runs over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered six hits.
Derrick Mitchell ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out four.
