7/14/2013-As the Vaqueros prepare to return for the 2019 season, lets take a look back at the history of the Vaqueros.

2019 will be the 10 year anniversary of the Andrew Dunn, Ron Baron and the Continental Baseball League announcing their move to Las Cruces. Although Las Cruces never lived up the projections that Baron made, it ultimately paved the way for the creation of the Pecos League and Independent League Baseball throughout New Mexico and the entire West Coast. The Vaqueros also gave a starting point for these individuals in their baseball careers.
  • Andrew Dunn-current commissioner of the Pecos League 2009 owner.
  • Bobby Brown-2010 Manager-Manager for Amarillo Sox of the American Association. Bobby got his start with the Vaqueros and springboard to the United League and then the American Association.
  • Alyssa Dooyema-2011 Marketing Director for Vaqueros- Alyssa is a business development executive for the Delmarva Shorebirds of the Baltimore Orioles Organization.
  • Jimmy Parque=2012-signed a minor league contract with St Louis Cardinals.
  • Erik Draxton-2010 Closer-Pitched for Amarillo Sox of the American Association. Draxton also made stops with Southern Illinois Miners.
  • Brian Ramirez-playing baseball in France.
  • Colt Loehrs-2011-played for Wichita Wingnuts of the American Association.
  • Randy Wells-2012-played for Las Vegas Train Robbers in Pecos League.
  • Ryan Lauer-2012-played for Las Vegas Train Robbers in Pecos League.
  • Steve Rinaudo-2012-played for San Angelo Colts of United League.
  • Logan Lotti-2012-played for Alpine Cowboys in Pecos League.
  • Alfonso Cardenas-2012-played for Frontier Greys of Freedom League.
  • Chris Peacock-2012-signed with Pittsburgh Pirates.
  • Thomas Nelson-2012-Manager-for Trinidad Triggers.
