Sunday was a great day for Edison Alvarez, as Alvarez struck out eight batters to carry the Las Vegas Train Robbers (30-20) to a 13-1 victory over the Trinidad Triggers at Rodriguez Park.
Even in defeat, Frank Florio played well for the Trinidad Triggers (30-22).

Chris Shaklee couldnt get it done on the bump for the Trinidad Triggers, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out six.
