The Raton Osos make the most of 9 hits in 7-4 victory over the Santa Fe Fuego

The Raton Osos (7-36) and the Santa Fe Fuego (20-23) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Raton Osos that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-4 win at Gabriele Park.

Nicholas Hinojos racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Raton Osos. He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Nickolas Huff handled the Santa Fe Fuegos lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. The Raton Osos pitcher gave up just four hits over 3 1/3 shutout innings.

Bryson Sims led the Santa Fe Fuegos offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Tim Sylvester got the win, running his season record to 3-3. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered eight hits.

Nolan Snell was the games losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
