1/3/2018-The Pecos League and its twelve teams have released their 2018 regular season schedule.

The 2018 Pecos League Season gets underway on Thursday, May 24th. All of the opening series will be divisional games. White Sands will play at Roswell to begin their home and home series. Alpine will play at Santa Fe Ruidoso will play at Tucson as the Saguaros move into their new park. For the fourth year in a row Trinidad will begin at Garden City. For the 2nd year in a row Monterey begins the season at Bakersfield and High Desert begins their season at California City.

The biggest offseason move was the Saguaros move into Reid Park from Kino which will feature 5PM, 3PM and 1PM starts and will eliminate the Sunday Games in Bisbee, Arizona. All Sunday Games will now remain in Tucson.

The Regular season features a 64 game season ending on July 26 with six of the twelve team making the playoffs. The Pecos League is realigned with three divisions of four teams and as close to a balanced schedule as ever.

The Pacific Division features the four California Teams: (Bakersfield, California City, High Desert and Monterey)
The Mountain Division features (Alpine, Trinidad, Garden City and Santa Fe)
The Southern Division features (Tucson, White Sands, Roswell and Roswell)



The only change to the team alignment is the Ruidoso Osos replace the Hollywood Stars. The Ruidoso Osos return to the Pecos League for the first time since 2011. The Osos will play four home games and serve as the leagues travel team. The return of the Osos drastically improves the league travel footprint.

  • The White Sands Pupfish play 29 Home games and 35 Road Games
  • The Tucson Saguaros play 38 Home games and 9 Neutral Site Games and 17 Road Games
  • The Ruidoso Osos play 4 home games and 60 Road Games
  • The Roswell Invaders play 34 Home games and 29 Road Games and 1 neutral site game
  • The Alpine Cowboys play 32 Home games and 32 Road Games
  • The Trinidad Triggers play 32 Home games and 32 Road Games
  • The Garden City Wind play 29 Home Games and 35 Road Games
  • The Santa Fe Fuego play 37 Home Games and 21 Road Games and 6 neutral site games
  • The California City Whiptails play 32 Home games and 32 Road Games
  • The Monterey Amberjacks play 28 home games 34 Road Games and 2 neutral site games
  • The High Desert Yardbirds play 36 home games 28 Road Games
  • The Bakersfield Train Robbers play 39 home games and 26 away games.
Bakersfield will again host the Pacific Division All Star Game and Trinidad will host the Mountain Division All Star game for the first time ever. Alpine, Garden City, Trinidad, Tucson, Bakersfield and High Desert will be home for the 4th of July and will all feature fireworks shows.

The Pecos League will feature several neutral site games
  • Deming New Mexico will host a Pecos League Game between Roswell and Tucson on June 13th
  • Winslow, Arizona will host the Tucson Saguaros and the Santa Fe Fuego for six games. Two 3 game series one in June and one in July.
  • Bakersfield, California will host Tucson and Monterey doubleheader the day after the All- Star Break, it is the only two times these two teams meet.
  • Tehachapi, California will host Montereys six Thursday Home games
