Shawn Kale throws first shutout the year

Shawn Kale throws a one hit complete game shutout against the White Sands Pupfish in Las Cruces Thursday Night. The Vaqueros won the game 2-0.
Jimmy Parque drove in Steve Rinaudo in the first inning. Parque scored on wild pitch, those would be the only runs in the game as Michael Oros held the Vaqueros scoreless the rest of the way.
They moved into 2nd place in the Pecos League with a Roswell Invaders loss against Alpine. The Pupfish are sinking fast as they have dropped eight straight games. Apodoca Park had problems with the lights that came on and off. The game was delayed for fifteen minutes until power was restored. The two teams meet tommorow night in Alamogordo at 7PM.
