7/31/2016-The Trinidad Triggers have defeated the Topeka Train Robbers 2 games to 0 to advance to the Northern Division Finals. Trindad defeated the Triggers 6-4 and 4-2 to win their first playoff series in team history. The Triggers have made the playoffs in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 but never advanced past the first round.

The Triggers will now travel to Garden City to face the Garden City Wind in the Northern Division Finals in Garden City beginning 8/3/2016.
