The Trinidad Triggers make the most of 7 hits in 3-2 victory over the Garden City Wind

The Trinidad Triggers (22-18) and the Garden City Wind (21-18) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the Trinidad Triggers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 3-2 win at Clint Lightner.

Caleb Baker reached base four times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the ninth innings.

Despite the loss, the Garden City Winds Marty Anderson dominated the Trinidad Triggers batters, giving up two runs and striking out 10.

Scott Stonestreet got the win, running his season record to 3-3. Stonestreet struck out none, walked none and gave up two hits.

Chris Gammon couldnt get it done on the bump for the Garden City Wind, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
