Octave helps the Great Bend Boom down the Trinidad Triggers 4-2

Kedeem Octave went 2-3 as the Great Bend Boom (13-16) took home a 4-2 victory over the Trinidad Triggers (21-14) in seven innings at Central Park on Tuesday. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Ian Miller got the win for the Great Bend Boom thanks to eight strikeouts. Miller allowed two earned runs on four hits and three walks over seven innings.

Scott Stonestreet pitched lights out for the Trinidad Triggers. The Great Bend Boom managed just one hit off of Stonestreet, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

Kyle McKay was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
