CJ Epperson went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Salina Stockade (11-12) to a 9-7 victory over the Great Bend Boom (9-11) on Saturday at Dean Evans Stadium. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Tevin Padgett got on base four times in the game for the Great Bend Boom. He singled in the first and second innings.

Skyler Janisse improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Salina Stockade. He allowed three runs over six innings. Janisse struck out seven, walked three and gave up seven hits.

Stephen Swagerty ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked three and struck out three.
