Early lead gives the Roswell Invaders easy victory over the Garden City Wind 22-6

The Roswell Invaders (4-1) continued to pile up the runs on Tuesday, scoring nine runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 22-6 landslide win over the Garden City Wind (2-3) at Clint Lightner.

The Roswell Invaders scored nine runs in the second on the Roswell Invaders scored in the second on an RBI single by David Johnson, a two-run single by Christian Johnson, a two-run single by Cody Bishop, and a home run by Cody Coffman.

Bishop racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Roswell Invaders.

The Roswell Invaders relied on Johnson to eat up innings en route to the win. Johnson pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out four.

Clay Ardeeser led the Garden City Winds offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He singled in the fourth, eighth, and ninth innings.

Ryan Stapp was the games losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.
