The Santa Fe Fuego make the most of 9 hits in 8-7 victory over the Las Vegas Train Robbers

The Santa Fe Fuego (32-17) and the Las Vegas Train Robbers (21-35) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Santa Fe Fuego that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-7 win at Central Park.

Matt Petrone was hot from the plate for the Santa Fe Fuego. Petrone went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first, second, and ninth innings.

Jordan Caillouet racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He homered in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Tyler Herr recorded his fourth win of the year for the Santa Fe Fuego. He allowed one run over one inning. Herr struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

Scott Stonestreet (1-1) took the loss for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
