The Roswell Invaders make the most of 8 hits in 6-5 victory over the Alpine Cowboys

The Roswell Invaders (11-9) and the Alpine Cowboys (12-9) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Roswell Invaders capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-5 win at Joe Bauman Park.

Aaron Carman racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Roswell Invaders. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third, seventh, and ninth innings.

Steven Romero handled the Alpine Cowboys lineup with ease, racking up nine strikeouts. Romero allowed one earned run, seven hits and four walks over seven innings.

Daniel Aldrich reached base four times in the game for the Alpine Cowboys. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Jimmy Daley improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Roswell Invaders. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered no hits.
