1/7/2012-It is the middle of December in Santa Fe and snow has the ground covered, but for on Sunday the temperature will hit 40 degrees for a couple of hours. Hopefully just long enough for the Pecos League to hold the local Santa Fe tryout. This is not your average tryout camp the Pecos League fought a small war to get to play in historic Fort Marcy and this will be the first day that the Pecos League occupies Fort Marcy. We realize the field has a long ways to go but this will be a start and people will immediately see the potential. Here are the details:

What: Pecos League Tryout and Meet and Greet
When: December 11, 2011 Tryout is at Fort Marcy Park in Santa Fe New Mexico at 1:00 PM MST Meet and Greet is at 4:00 PM at Junctions 530 South Guadalupe Santa Fe New Mexico 87501
Who: The Pecos League Tryout cost $50 and is for all players seeking to play in the Pecos League. The following Pecos League Representatives will be present

• Santa Fe Fuego Head Coach Bill Moore
• Trinidad Triggers Head Coach Justin Lowery
• Trinidad Triggers Assistant Coach JD Droddy
• Las Cruces Vaqueros director of operations Miguel Salcedo
• Pecos League Commisioner Andrew Dunn

The Santa Fe Fuego hats and shirts will be on sale on site both at Tryout and Meet and greet.
