2/3/2015-The Pecos League is excited to partner with Amtrak for transporting players along the Southwest Chief Route during the 2015 season. The Southwest Chief has stops in Lamy, NM; Las Vegas, NM; Trinidad, Colorado and Garden City, Kansas.
  • The Northern Division teams will ride the train from Las Vegas, NM to and from Garden City, Kansas and have Mondays as off days when they play in Garden City. Teams will leave Monday and return the following Monday.
  • The Train Departs Las Vegas Eastbound in the mid afternoon daily.
  • The Train Departs Garden City in the early morning daily.
  • The Las Vegas Train Robbers, Santa Fe Fuego, Trinidad Triggers and Garden City Wind are in the Northern Division.

If it goes well, we will plan to add an additional train route, the Sunset Limited, with service to Alpine, Texas for the 2016 season."
