Early lead not enough for the Roswell Invaders drop 9-5 decision to the Bisbee Blue

The Roswell Invaders (26-20) built an early edge on Saturday, but the Bisbee Blue (26-19) roared back to steal a 9-5 victory at Joe Bauman Park.

An RBI home run by Clemente Parra gave the Bisbee Blue the lead in the seventh inning.

Chris Allen racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Bisbee Blue. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.

Ryan Normoyle reached base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second inning.

Daniel Bartlett improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Bisbee Blue. Bartlett struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Bryan Kluppe ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
