The Alpine Cowboys fall 11-5 at the hands of the Trinidad Triggers

The Trinidad Triggers (22-18) pounded the Alpine Cowboys (31-16) on Friday 11-5 at Central Park.

The Trinidad Triggers scored four runs in the fourth on the Trinidad Triggers scored in the fourth on an RBI double by Michael Morris, a steal of home by Morris, an RBI single by Maximiano Garza, and an error.

Chris Escobar had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the second inning and doubled in the third inning.

Daniel Sharp pitched lights out for the Trinidad Triggers. The Alpine Cowboys managed just one hit off of Sharp, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his two innings of work.

Casanova Donaldson racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Alpine Cowboys. He homered in the first inning.

Jeff Lyons recorded his fourth win of the year for the Trinidad Triggers. He allowed four runs over six innings. Lyons struck out four, walked three and gave up eight hits.

Pat Lemmo (4-1) took the loss for the Alpine Cowboys. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked three and struck out one.

The Trinidad Triggers Jake Summers, Escobar and Morris combined for six hits and six RBIs.
