4/13/2022-The Pecos League announced the new Santa Rosa Baseball Team will be named the "Santa Rosa Scuba Divers". The teams home games will be played in Santa Rosa Doyle Park Memorial Park in June and July on Thursday and Friday Nights. Santa Rosa, California is 54 miles north of San Francisco on Highway 101 and 97 miles West of Sacramento.

2022 wont be the first Santa Rosa team in the Pecos League. In 2014, 2015 and 2016 the Pecos League played one game a year in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. The popular name Scuba Divers was the proposed team that was going to be based in Santa Rosa, New Mexico which is home to the Blue Hole and the only scuba diving in the entire Southwestern United States.

Colors for the Scuba Divers will Red and White. The team will wear Red Jerseys with with black hats. 2022 will be the inaugural season for the Scuba Divers.

The Scuba Divers will join the Pecos Leagues Pacific Division which now consist of eight teams. Seven of the Pacific Division teams are based in California (Bakersfield Train Robbers, Wasco Reserve, Monterey Amberjacks, Santa Cruz Seaweed, Santa Rafael Pacifics and Martinez Sturgeon). The two time Pecos League Defending Champion Tucson Saguaros will move back into the Pacific Division to align the league with two divisions of eight.

The team will play a 50 game regular season schedule from May 26 to July 31. Pecos League Playoffs begin at the end of the regular season.

The Scuba Divers will finalize their coaching and game day staff in early 2022.

The Pecos League is an independent baseball league which operates in cities in desert mountain regions throughout California, New Mexico, Southern Arizona, Kansas, West Texas and Colorado. Pecos Teams play in cities that do not have Major or Minor League Baseball teams and is not affiliated with either.
