The Salina Stockade will finally be playing home games in the 2021 season. After spending the first 43 games on the road the Stockade will play 12 home games in the final two weeks of the season in El Dorado, Kansas. they will host five home games against the Trinidad Triggers and two home games against the Garden City Wind. The Stockade will also serve as the home team in six other games being held in Colby, Kansas.

El Dorado is 31 miles East of Wichita and the County Seat of Butler County. El Dorado has been home to the El Dorado Broncos of the Jayhawk College Summer League for decades. The team disbanded this season and left historic McDonald Field without a summer tenant for the first time ever. The Stockade were originally slated to return to Salina and play at Dean Evans Stadium.
McDonald Stadium is a stadium that is rich in character and history. Built as a Work Projects Administration project in 1940, this facility has continually been updated to make it modern while still perserving its nostalgic charm.
Amenities to McDonald Stadium are:
- - Bleacher seating (approximately 1,000), covered by the exterior concrete structure
- - Infield turf, completed during March 2013
- - Home clubhouse, furnished with a TV and washer/dryer facilities
- - Air-conditioned press box with wi-fi internet and radio booths
- - Concession stand
- - Umpire room

McDonald Stadium is also home to the El Dorado Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum.
