4/13/2014-The Trinidad Triggers have signed LPH Kevin McGovern. McGovern played his college baseball at Philadelphia University. In two years with Philadelphia, McGovern posted ERAs of 2.13 and 2.86 respectively. In 140.1 innings pitched, he struck out 134 batters and walked 44. He gave up only 1 Home Run in that two year period. Later, he pitched for the Frontier League travel team, the Road Warriors. During his tenure with the Road Warriors, he was a reliever and threw 25.2 innings, striking out 13 and walking 9.
