12/20/2013-The Pecos League will bring back exhibition games against New Mexico School of Baseball. New Mexico School of Baseball is a Las Cruces Based Summer College Team that plays an Independent Schedule. It gives current College Players in the State of New Mexico an opportunity to play Summer Baseball with Wooden bats at a high level. The New Mexico School of Baseball plays a weekend schedule in the Tucson Arizona Kino College League.

In 2010, 2011 and 2012 the New Mexico School of Baseball played exhibition games against Pecos League Teams in Roswell and Las Cruces. when Las Cruces was removed the league the series ended.

Pecos League Commissioner Andrew Dunn "Our fans are excited to see local New Mexico Players play against Pecos League Players, we rarely get local players from the State of New Mexico so this a great chance for fans to see local players and the college Players from the State of New Mexico to face Pecos League Players."

New Mexico School of Baseball Director Darrell Carrillo "We missed the Pecos League in Las Cruces last year. I am glad to be able to barnstorm around and give our kids some of the best competitive they have ever seen. We are excited. We will do our best to try to win every game."
