The Las Vegas Train Robbers (41-27) didnt stand a chance on Wednesday, as the Santa Fe Fuego (36-31) captured a blowout 11-4 win at Fort Marcy Park.
The Santa Fe Fuego scored three runs in the sixth on a two-run single by Josh Barnett and an RBI single by Jimmy Maxwell.
Devonte Odums was hot from the plate for the Santa Fe Fuego. Odums went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the seventh inning.
Kevin Camacho picked up the win for the Santa Fe Fuego. Camacho pitched nine innings and allowed no earned runs, nine hits and no walks while striking out six.
Shayne Miller was the games losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked six, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
