Eric Parnow threw a complete game shutout to lead the San Rafael Pacifics to the 2023 Pecos League Championship. Parnow struck out 11 batters and limited the Saguaros to three hits. Kyle Guerra lead the game off with a double and scored on Beau Dormans hit. Nick Smith singled in the 4th and scored on John Bicos hit to give the Pacifics a 2-0 lead.

Jay Cervantes pitched 7 innings for the Tucson Saguaros with 7 strikeouts allowing 2 runs. Brendan Konal started the 8th inning for the Saguaros and loaded the bases without getting an out. Travis Cole came out of the pen for Tucson getting a strikeout and then a home to first double play to end the inning.

The San Rafael Pacifics have won their first Pecos League Championship and their sixth in the team history. The Pacifics were champions in the North American League in 2012 and in The Pacific Association in 2014,2015,2018 and 2019.
